New City is back at it again, with another renovation at Raleigh’s Person Street Plaza. The former Standard Foods restaurant, located at 205 E. Franklin Street, will soon reopen as Standard Beer and Food. This is the latest project from Whit Baker and Andy Schnitzer, who are also partners in the beer pop-up Ancillary Fermentation. Minor renovations, including reworking the dining areas and reconfiguring the kitchen to accommodate a new brewery, will begin this summer with plans to open by the fall.
