Ted Van Dyk Reappointed to Wake County Planning Board
We are proud to share that Ted Van Dyk, AIA has been officially reappointed to serve on the Wake County Planning Board.
According to a formal letter from the Wake County Board of Commissioners dated February 16, 2026, the Board voted on February 2, 2026, to approve Ted’s reappointment. His new term will begin on March 1, 2026, and run through February 28, 2028
In addition to continuing his service, Ted will be serving as Vice Chair of the Wake County Planning Board this term — a leadership role that reflects his commitment to thoughtful planning, responsible growth, and long-term community development across Wake County.
As a licensed architect and community leader, Ted brings valuable insight to the planning process, helping guide decisions that shape the future of our region. We congratulate him on this reappointment and thank him for his continued dedication to public service.
